Serving the Southern Thirst

The Douglas, Georgia plant is Premium Waters’ latest addition and was opened in January of 2008.

The Georgia plant services the southeast including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.

Currently produces spring water from our spring site in Abbeville, Georgia along with distilled and purified drinking waters from our municipal source.

In addition to our house brands of Nature’s Crystal and Glacier Clear, we are a supplier to many established private label brands.

The plant is about 200,000 square feet in area, with an automated warehousing system and the capacity to supply PET bottles and preforms to our other plants and can bottle the following sizes: 10 oz., 0.5L, 20 oz., 1 gallon and 2.5 gallon. About 75 people work at the plant.

In November, 2008 the Douglas plant received the SQF 2000 Level 3 certification. SQF (Safe Quality Foods) is the next step in a comprehensive quality standard that all PWI plants are the first in achieving in the United States, demonstrating a commitment to producing quality products and service in a safe working environment.
